Mission & History
Mission
Our mission is to have a customer focused firm offering a variety of wireless
infrastructure solutions for the wireless industry. We specialize in attention to
detail and local market expertise through a group of highly qualified wireless
infrastructure professionals.
Wireless Companies need a strategic partner in which to outsource their network
real estate and construction infrastructure needs. The Oasis Advisory Group
provides a single point of contact offering both comprehensive solutions and value added
services.
Our goal is to take the wireless clients idea and turn
into reality by minimizing handoffs, controlling both the expense and capital budget while
making a timely market implementation schedule.
History
Oasis Consulting, LLC was founded in Nashville, Tennessee by Scott Jackson in October
of 2001, with a second office opening in Knoxville, Tennessee the following December by
co-owner/founder Max Smith. In November of 2002 Shawn Massey joined the firm and became
a partner and Chief Manager.
The Oasis Advisory Group was designed to be a small yet efficient
wireless consulting firm dedicated to local markets, where experience had been gained
and relationships built.
From the beginning, the intent of The Oasis Advisory Group was to
remain small and "local", so as to be maneuverable and cost effective.
The Oasis Advisory Group enjoyed success in its first year having
completed 21 sites for Cingular Wireless and Nextel Communications, and was awarded project
management work for the entire Tennessee market from AT&T Wireless. Since that first year
the company has worked on in excess of 200+/- sites in the Southeast.
The changing industry landscape prompted The Oasis Advisory Group to
offer more than its initial services in order to remain adaptable to the evolving nature
of the wireless industry. As a result, The Oasis Advisory Group formed
a parent company, The Oasis Advisory Group, from which to solicit business,
as a means of offering a wider variety of these services, and expanded offices to Memphis,
Tennessee, and Mobile, Alabama.
Because each Oasis office is independently owned and operated, they are able to operate
with minimal overhead costs.
